Restaurant Social Media

I currently live in SoCal and have alot of experience cooking mexican dishes. i pride myself on cooking, but with a demaning job I have not been able to learn any new dishes. Good thing I was looking around and found a site that has some articles and networking on mexican recipes.

www.DiversityInHospitality.com

look soon their articles change weekly!

Interesting site--diversity is what makes people so fascinating, right? Hopefully I'll have more time later to read some of the articles more in-depth.

California? Lucky! It's below zero here right now. Sheesh....anyway, I have a question for you. Do you know how to make flour tortillas? My beau thinks the packaged ones at the grocery stores here smell like feet (they do). And not a single restaurant in town makes their own. So I tried a recipe last night and it was just ok. I'm going to try to tweak it a bit, but if you have a good recipe, I'd like to give it a try.

Thanks!
Agreed--those thin cuts really don't do it for me. Thick is the way to go!

PS--Thanks for the tips on corn...I've never heard of that one before! Hopefully it'll help me get some more veggies into my household's diet. :)
