Voice of the Restaurant Industry
I just read a really interesting article about how some people are using the new Google + Hangouts feature. Hangouts has really taken off and even Google is surprised and delighted. In fact, this one feature may accelerate Google Plus to 400 million users by YD 2012.
So, I was wondering, how would you use Hangouts Video feature for the restaurant industry?
The system already allows up to 10 G+ members to be on a live video chat simultaneously using a simple webcam.
How could we use the FohBoh membership?

I feel like there would be some value in customer research. Hangouts make it very easy to conduct online focus groups. This might be used in specific test markets or even to compare sentiment across test markets. At Bob Evans, I know that our area coaches would conduct conference calls with the operators fairly regularly around window and season changes. Those meetings were very document heavy, and I always felt some of the sharing features above might be applicable in that setting.
Just some ideas...

Dear Michael,
Can you email me the link on this article? Don't see it in your post. Maybe I'm not seeing it.
thank you,
