Restaurant Social Media

One of my current projects for our company has been to develop supplemental materials to help enhance our current training program and help provide education on topics that absolutely impact daily sales and proftits.

I am reaching out to our fantastic group of leaders because someone probably already has a program or material developed. I have quickly learned in this profession that you need to work smarter not harder. Why create something someone else already has?

I am reaching out to see if any of you have any training materials developed for Suggestive Selling, Mystery Shoppers or if you happen to live the in the Applebee's System NPS. If you have something you are willing to share it would mean alot to our team who is diligently working to move our programs to an even higher level for everyone including our associates.

have you used Jim Sullivan "sullivision" as a resource? I have in the past and it contains some good ideas you may also check out RedBook Soulitions as another resource
I think I can help . I run a consulting group in Houston . Although we cater to small restaurants/ bars the basic pricipals are the same. What exactly do you need ?
Amanda, you may want to check out restaurantowner.com. You can become a member and have access to a lot of resources. Also redbboksolutions.biz have some training products. Hope it helps.
Hi, Amanda!

We are currently using a company called Skillsoft. They specialize in e-learning. We have access to thousands of books, computer simulations, videos, learning courses, etc. It costs about $350 per user, but it is worth it if it is used. We've seen good results with the focused training.

You might also want to look at Rockhurst University's Star 12. It is a similar program to the one above. Both are fun, interactive, and worth the money.

For suggestive selling, google "Service That Sells". It is a good program, too.
