Buy Fresh-Buy Local. It's Farmers Market time!

Starting this weekend in Fort Collins the two local Farmers Markets will be reopening for the season. The Fort Collins Market located at Harmony Road and Lemay Avenue is open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sundays. The Drake Farmers Market is open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays located at 802 W. Drake.
I ran across a web site today www.foodreference.com and it has everything you could ever want to find out about food happenings in Colorado. Take a look you will diffently find something of interest. Mine too, it is still a little early for my favorites. Thank god tomatoes here in Colorado are safe. My sales rep told me that most of the contaminated ones had been coming from Florida.

This is my favorite time of year for food too because I love farmer's markets. I haven't been to the ones in Fort Collins, but I try to get over the the one in Boulder every Saturday to buy fresh, local food and listen to the live music.
