What is it that makes you like one particular coffee? Have you tried mass-market coffee? Have you tried specialty coffee? Have you only tried blends or single origin too? Have you only tried flavored coffee or do you prefer non-flavored coffee? Why do choose to buy it where you do, is it simply convenience or do you go out of your way to always get it the same place?

Having spent 2 weeks in Havana, Cuba in 1999 my favourite coffee has been Cubita, Cuba's 'national' coffee brand -made from 100% finest Arabica beans, cultivated and hand picked in the Sierra Maestra Mountains, shade grown, naturally sun dried and chemical free. Roasted and packaged in Havana it is a coffee that has strong earthy tones, with a hint of smokiness and a caramel finish. There's a company in Ireland that imports the beans and I buy 1kg at a time, lasts about 2 months. Fellow coffee drinkers in Canada can buy it from www.cubita.ca, but I'm afraid US drinkers will have to wait for a new president!

Too bad for me!! I'll forward the information to my nephew in Vancouver...he will probably enjoy a good cupa cuban.
I do not like flavored coffee. I prefer single-origin coffees to blends and particularly like Brasillian coffee from Cerrado or Sol du Minas regions.

I drink my coffee black and often prefer espresso to drip.
My all-time favorite coffee is a Guatemalan Huehuetenango that I get from my local roaster. It's light and clean, with fresh grass undertones. I can drink it all day long. Next to that, I like his French Roast -- it's a blend of Ethiopian and Columbian coffees roasted dark, but not burned.
