Crossroads Coffee House in Historic Waxhaw, North Carolina


You can't get much more quirky or perky than Crossroads. My office is right behind this fine establishment, and that is about 90% of the reason why I located here. My real estate leads are on the front porch! :-)

Crossroads has truly fine roasted beans from all over the world, all the flavors & syrups (incl. sugar free!) you can ever imagine, all kinds of shakes, lattes, espressos, and fine cigars too! Live entertainment on the weekend, and best of all the most interesting customers and friends you will ever care to meet!

Not to mention, this is the site of the historic political career of Wally the Dog, who just very narrowily missed getting elected (on a write-in campaign!) as Mayor of this unique little town just south of Charlotte. We believe it was all the illegitmate puppies around town that led to Wally's downfall, but we still would have probably have been better off. In fact, Crossroads still has a revolving sign there that says, "DON'T BLAME ME; I VOTED FOR WALLY!"

I love this place!

Tooting thy own horn.... Blue Kangaroo Coffee Roasters.
With many new roasters popping up here in Portland... choices are bountiful. And we love being a favorite choice for people.
Located in the Sellwood's Antique Row in SE Portland.

And before Blue Kangaroo and even Stumptown came into our lives, the best coffee house (and coffee) Cafe del Mundo in Anchorage Alaska. Yeah Anchorage, Alaska!! Perry Merkel one of the now old school roasters, I learned my love and knowledge of coffee from him.
