Beef Lovers

Didn't see this group here, so I thought I'd start one. What's your favorite steak? What's your favorite roast? Is CAB better than USDA Choice? What do you think about American Wagyu? You see where I'm going with this.

I love a good steak, now and then. What is intersting, though, is I like BBQ sauce with my steak(sometimes Steak Sauce).

Even, if I am in a BBQ place and get a steak, the server asks if I want A 1 or Heinz 57. If I do decide I want BBQ sauce, I have to request it.

I am glad you are here! I know the world is looking at healthy options and many are turning to vegetarianism, and even I have been eating more veggies the past 2 years than ever. My partner, who died two years ago, was very carnivorous and so was I - we grew up with good beef and loved it. To this day I can think of no better meal than a well-grilled rare, prime NY sirloin strip steak! Unless maybe it's broiled lobster or lobster thermidor, or Coquille St. Jacques.
I've had Kobe at John Elkhay's amazing Chinese Laundry restaurant which opened this year in Providence, RI and was truly a providential event for foodies.
I've tasted wonderful grass fed beef at Whole Foods.
For me, beef will always be at the top of my list of favorites. :)
