Split Checks
I have a pizza shop, we take call in orders. Sometimes people call in one big order and when they come to pick it up they ask if the can split the bill. The only way i can figure out how to do it is split the bill evenly between a certain number of people. Is there a way to just pick certain items from the existing ticket?

You can split checks pretty much any way you could ever imagine in SoftTouch. Once you select the order from the Pick-Up screen, go to Edit Order then touch Split Check at the bottom of the screen. Create a new check and then touch the item on the check you want to move it from and then touch the new check. You can even split items on a check and then move the individual split of that item to another check. You will need to make sure that the security level you have set up for the job code you are using (cashier, server, manager, etc) has the ability to split checks and items. If you are a current client of a VAR that installed SoftTouch for you then they should be able to help you get this setup.
