Online social media tools to lower operational and advertizing costs...

I am developing FohBoh tools I believe are applicable to control costs in these key operational costs;

- Human resources and employee retention
- Collaboration with with supply chain partners
- Advertising

I'd like to hear from all of you regarding your current requirements and challenges. Would you be interested in learning more? Have you given thought to the use of these types of tools? What ideas do you have that might help your business?

I'd like to know why so many restaurants are reluctant to advertise using Social Media marketing. "It's too expensive". I get that a lot, when I talk to restaurauteurs(owners and managers), but then they'll turn around and throw thousands of dollars to radio stations and the "throw away" newspaper inserts.

Do they feel this is safe ? What ROI do they get on the "throw away" papers ?
