Permalink Reply by Adam Rubenstein on January 21, 2011 at 8:53am Hi Adam, respectfully, what about all of the other non Iphone users, why would u want to limit your marketing arm? You can accomplish the same thing for far less money with a mobile site and reach all smart phone users, change data on the fly, up date specials daily. With HTML 5 and 4G mobile site have become far more popular than apps in many verticle's. . When you combine a mobile site with SMS keyword text you have a marketing arsenal that can reach 98% of cell phone users. for example Our SMS platform has the ability to interact with u and collect data for more relevant and personalized messaging and has the ability to post your push messages to facebook and twitter simultaneously.
Don't think I'm trashing apps because we r a developer and build mobile apps too. Below is a chart that shows u the latest trends in app vs mobile web.
