Has anyone here worked using the point system for tip pooling and payout on a weekly or bi-weekly basis

Not a point system. We use a percentage of sales tipout and then create an hourly tip rate based on the total dollars available. Then the tips are divided up by how many hours you were in the pool.
Never for servers, only for hosts, bus people, food runners, and bartenders. What's the question you are really asking?
Talk to me about this. We used to do something like this at the clubs.
I have done this exact thing and might even have a spreadsheet that did all of the math for your payroll.
