Reno Restaurant Review
Hi Everyone, I just found a cool new Vietnamese restaurant called "Pho". The owner "Dot" was there when I was ordering so I've invited him to take a look at FohBoh and possibly join. I have to tell you. I am very impressed with the food. I had the Goi Cuon (Spring Rolls) and the Mi Hoanh Thanh Do Blen ( Wor Wonton and Seafood with Egg Noodle). What was really cool though besides it being incredible is how they package it up to go. I got home and realized that they had seperated all the ingredients and kept the broth in it's own container. That way nothing became soggy. Cool concept. Anyway, I'm going back for seconds. The owner said that he's been open for 3 months now and has already out grown the size of the restaurant. That says a lot when it comes to this industry. It's located In the Sierra Center Pkwy where the Target store is off of Virginia Ave. 6775 Sierra Center Pkwy Suite 600. If any of you were familiar with the Zone it has been replaced by Pho. I would love for any of you locals out there to share some of your favorite local restaurants and favorite dishes that you love.

Good idea Angie. I haven't been there but this culd be a find. I love good Vietnamese food, especially those tasty spring rolls.

Ciao Reno
This is a pretty good example of a restaurateur practicing the art of the possible. Good concept, good food, nice ambiance (incredible light fixtures) and pretty good service. In the wrong location.
Their pizza is very good and priced, I think, reasonably well. I love the bar..it's open, and friendly. Actually, a good spot to play a little video poker too.
It's on south virginia street in Reno.

Hi there Michael, I love Ciao Pizzeria and Wine Bar but I have to tell you, even after going there a time or two you can miss it in a blink of an eye. I had a huge luncheon there with about 20 friends of mine and half of them passed it up. I will say though I agree with you on the great concept, good food and nice ambiance.

Okay everyone, I have to apologize. Reno isn't the only place on the map and we all travel around the country so, with that being said, I wanted to ask that no matter where you live please share some of your favorite spots. Here's a good example and tell me if this isn't a small world. About two weeks ago I went to Roseville on some business and the person that I was meeting took me to a really great sushi bar called Mikuni's. I got back to Reno really jazzed and went to add a comment and that's when I found out that my friends who started this awesome site was at the same restaurant that very same day. So, you see, we do get around and it would be good to know where the locals are going.
