Expanding on a limited budget
Hi Everyone: We are a very small deli/cafe in Western WA and we recently aquired the space next door for expansion as we need more seating.
Our area is a resort community and other than our breakfast type sandwiches and burritos there are NO sit down breakfast spots within 10 miles from us or take out fish & chips (we are ocean front)!
We cannot afford to put in a vent/fire suppression system for a grill and fryer. I've looked into greasless fryers like quick 'n crispy, trac air and fry wizard. Do any of you use these and do they work?

Tammy, I don't know your local codes but it sounds like the only way you can expand your cooking is to do it outside. Southern Pride makes a smoker cooker that will not only cook but will bring in customers with the aroma in the vicinity. Ask your local foodservice equipment dealer or look them up online.

Thank you Howard. However, we live near the Canadian border in WA State, therefore we have a lot of rain and some snow so that would not be a option. I do appreciate your suggestion though! Have a great day!

Thanks Howard, as I posted have you heard of anyone using the Fry Wizard or Quick N EAsy?
The show Unwrapped featured a bit about the QNE. I've spoken to one owner of a cafe in WA who loves her Fry Wizard, just curious if you have a take/knowledge on these products.
