Quick Poll: How do you measure customer satisfaction in your restaurant?

Given all the talk about guest satisfaction these days and "exceeding customer expectations", it would be interesting to hear how people measure it.

Guest Satisfaction Survey Program works well!
Peter, how do you go about it and how does it work well?

Returns by the same customers.
Asking those repeat customers why are they returning and who else have they told would be very valuable information to help expand the list.

I think the best way to get feedback is to ask. It is straight forward and it gets you interaction with the guests. It probably will increase satisfaction just for asking.
