Obtaining a Barcode
Hello all:
I am getting to the point that I need a barcode for two BBQ Spice Blends that I am bringing to market. I have the labels all made, blender and co-packer are ready. I am meeting hopefully soon with a Food Rep that is interested in my product and also working to get in front of a Angel Network. (Yes, close)
All I need (I think at this time) is to get a barcode for each product. I have googled a lot and found a few. Any help or hints of who/where to go to.

FYI: In my research I found this website which seems to be the Uniform Code Council.

Do, I need to go to them, or will the other people work? Is the Uniform Code Council like the FDA/USDA point of contact type of people who are the authority.
