Much to my chagrin, no tables at El Quinto Pino... I went with a couple ladies and had a good time, all Spanish wines of course. The food, well the food was good, as in good i mean solid. I did not try the Uni Panini however... it just didn't strike my fancy. however i did have the;

Cracklings - oooo soooo good, and addictive, however it does feel like your drinking strait fat...

Garlicky shrimp - im a bit allergic however i did eat one, and i had the bread that came with the dish for sauce dippin that is. The sauce was quite good, and bread even better, the shrimp dident seem to have much flavor of the sauce... ah well good thing i don't eat them often.

Cod Fritters were very good, super crunchy light crust, moist flaky fish definitely worth getting.

Head Cheese - alittle too spicy for me... i did not enjoy the coriander i kept biting into. It was my first time eating headcheese... is there supposed to be so much cartalige? the dish was worth trying once... but let someone else order it.

Special of the day was a mushroom cooked with garlic and white wine... it was quite tasty, lots of acid which made it a bit tangy.

I don't remember if i had another dish or not, it was all a bit of a blur after the wines... but overall it was tasty and good worth taking a short trip to 9th avenue
