Well i didnt see a discussion on this and I am in the process of wanting to get into doing Mobile BBQ catering with the mobile smokers/cookers. Starting out part time on the weekends and eventually growing with the business as it grows!
I have always had a passion for cooking & especially grilling. I'm from the NC originally and we love to BBQ, from pork to chicken to turkey etc. and living here in Las Vegas sort of puts a dampen on certain foods that you are accessed too at times!
I would like any information anyone is willing to share about getting in this type of business, even starting out on the smallest scale, finding a great quality smoker from some place. Could be used, doesn't have to be brand new. I have goggled and searched the net and found a few places, im wondering if any of my fellow Foh Boh pals know of anyone they could recommend.
I would also like to have good hot dog cart also to compliment the smokers as well.
I have plans on where I would like to set up and different events i would like to attend.
I am just wondering what information anyone can pass on and what do you suggest!
This would be my foot in the door to the food service industry and growing into a full restaurant one day! I fully understand trial & errors in business lol
