Interesting gadget.
Looks like it's a little difficult to figure out at first.
Even the comment posted in the youtube clip was a thanks for showing someone how it worked.

I'm fine with just twisting the cap off a good vintage. (kidding)

I'll just stick with the YMCA style corkcrew. Works fine.

I do have a couple of those 2 pronged corkscrews, you know, the ones that kinda' look like the Pi symbol? But I've never found them to be that efficient, more of a novelty. The critical (for functionality) threads on the two prongs strip easily if you twist the wrong way...and I could never remember which way was the wrong way. Especially the 2nd bottle.

Paul,
I'm with you ~ nothing like a wine key. Great for presentation and truly impresses those that have never had the training and are still using the old "wing" version.
