Ownership versus Profit Sharing

Thanks for the response. I guess I should go into more detail. I am in the process of negotiating a partnership with an investor who is bringing all of the money to the table, I am bringing a great reputation, concept, and the general know how , and know whats, as well as being the operating partner.
What would the benefits be of being an owner? Profit sharing sounds great, but what if the investor were to sell the business, or, employees were trained to a high enough level of proficiency that my services were no longer needed?
