I love shrimp -- in fact, I just had some for dinner. So maybe it's time that I give crawfish a try! Thanks for the info!

I was hoping this one would take off -- I love getting recommendations from "locals" and it's fun hearing about what other people are serving and eating.

Pizza is the best subject for local eats.. with NY Pizzeria, you can munch the selection of delicious pizzas at cheap rates..

Backyard Bbq Pit in Durham NC is a local favorite bbq joint over on highway 55! We cook our meats in a pit out back with different types of wood. We serve bbq, ribs, bbq chicken, fresh fried fish, pork chops, an assortment of fresh vegetables & sides such as collards, string beans, brunswick stew, stewed potatoes, yams, potato salad, etc. Below is a pic of my bbq plate i had one day.

Other places in Durham that i recommend is Dames Chicken & Waffles downtown, I like Devines for their wings also. Beyu Caffe & MAdhatters are coffee shops. Its so many places to name but these are just a few that i frequent often. I post others later. Great blog question & post.
