BEER LOVERS INVITED TO “HEAD” DOWN TO KIMERA WEDNESDAYS

       Here's another reason to celebrate Hump-Days... Kimera will feature 5 microbrews each Wednesday from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and beer connoisseurs will have an opportunity to sample them in 3 oz pours.  Cost is $15 and includes a complimentary order of skinny fries topped with Parmesan, garlic and parsley along with an aioli dipping sauce.  The popular OC restaurant, which specializes in upscale New American cuisine, also will offer a vast and assorted Happy Hour menu to go along with the beers with items starting at just $4.  Fare includes golden fried calamari with chipotle aioli sauce, California rolls and sashimi grade yellowfin tuna, hummus plate, tacos filled with either grilled fish, chicken or filet mignon, sliders including Meyer’s all-natural beef, short rib “sloppy joe” and chicken kefta and a variety of flat-bread pizzas.

       “We recently revamped our standing beer menu but didn’t want to stop there,” said owner Karyn Ghoukassian.  “The Wednesday tastings will give our guests a chance to explore the ever-expanding world of microbrews while they nosh on some tasty food ”
