Tight profit margins and high fuel costs are encouraging shippers and freight carriers across the country to find new ways to reduce their fuel use. The SmartWay Transport Partnership aims to address these concerns with a voluntary public-private initiative focused on improving the fuel efficiency of goods movement in the U.S. Attendees will learn about how SmartWay Transport shipper and carrier partners use new technologies and management practices to improve their efficiency and reduce fuel use and emissions. Attendees will also learn about the valuable tools and resources the SmartWay Transport Partnership provides to quantify the efficiency of ground freight operations.
